Children learn best from coaches who are qualified, supported and safe. All of our coaches and managers are volunteers, and we invest in their development.
Checks and training
- Enhanced DBS check for everyone in a regulated role.
- The FA Safeguarding Children workshop.
- Emergency Aid / First Aid training.
- The FA Youth Award / Level 1 or above for team coaches, with the club supporting further courses.
Coach development
We ensure all active coaches maintain their minimum requirements, while encouraging further development with additional FA coaching courses and coaching badges.
Want to help?
We are always looking for parents and carers who would like to help with coaching, managing or running a team. You do not need any experience - the club will support you through the qualifications. Speak to any coach or committee member.
