We want everyone connected with the club to feel able to raise a concern and be listened to.
Raising a concern
- First, talk to your child's coach or manager - most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally.
- If that does not resolve it, or you would rather not speak to the coach, contact the current Club Chairman in writing: see committee page for email addresses.
- Welfare and safeguarding concerns should go straight to the Club Welfare Officer (see the Safeguarding page).
What happens next
- We will acknowledge your concern within 7 days.
- The committee will look into it fairly and impartially and aim to give you a response within 28 days.
- Where a matter cannot be resolved within the club, it may be referred to the County FA.
Discipline
Breaches of our Codes of Conduct - by players, parents/carers or coaches - will be dealt with by the committee in line with the club constitution and The FA's rules. Sanctions may include a warning, a suspension or, in serious cases, removal from the club.
Whistleblowing
If you have a concern about the way the club is run or about an adult's behaviour and do not feel able to raise it internally, you can contact the NSPCC whistleblowing helpline on 0800 028 0285.
